You know of a patent application that may hinder your company if it is granted. That is why you would like to prevent it from being granted.
We will file so-called third party observations with the relevant Patent Office. In these observations we argue why no patent should be granted. Typically, we argue that the invention described in the application is not new and/or not inventive over older technology. We will often search for relevant publications – published before the filing date of the patent application – that we can use as evidence.
Third party observations can be submitted anonymously. This prevents the patent applicant from becoming aware of your company.
